- Easter Shooting Festival

PROGRAMME  -  50 Metre Rifle

The 50 metre rifle events will be held at the Sinclair Range, St  John's. This is in the centre of the Island and approximately a 20 minute drive from Douglas. The Range has permanently installed Sius electronic targets, a large covered firing point and a Clubhouse serving refreshments through the day. The Clubhouse and facilities are wheelchair friendly. See the side panel for maps.

Events will be run in accordance with the current ISSF Rulebook.

Thursday has free training available all day.

Friday has free training available up to noon and the 3 Positions match starting with a call to the line at 12.00 noon.

Saturday has four prone squads.  These are Classified A, B, C, Junior and Veterans.

Sunday also has four classified prone squads with prone finals following Squad D.

Shooting mats:
Shooting mats are provided as part of the Range equipment.  Do not bring your own.

NB:  All shooting is on Sius electronic targets and instruction will be given to anyone uncertain about use of the equipment.

Good Friday, 3rd April
The Range is available for training between 9.00am and 12 noon.

From 12.30pm -
3 Positions Rifle Men
A 3x20 event.
3 Positions Rifle Women
A 3x20 event.

Saturday, 4th April
Prone 60 shots
An individual 60 shot prone event with Classes A, B, C, Junior (U21) and Veteran (60+) awards.
Women's Championship
An individual prone event for women comprising 60 shots on Saturday and 60 on Sunday.  Targets are shot concurrent with the open events both days.  It has automatic entry, and it's free!
Blind Pairs - a competition with a hint of Easter fun!
We'll pair you up by random draw once things have started.  Each member shoots 60 shots concurrent with the open event.  Entry is free.

Easter Sunday, 5th April

Prone 60 shots, with Final
An individual prone event comprising 60 shots Qualification and a Final. Separate Finals for Men and Women. Class awards across A, B, C, Junior (U21) and Veteran (60+) will also be made based on the 60 shot Qualification.
Teams of 2 - Teams must be nominated prior to any member shooting
An event for teams of 2, each member shooting 60 shots. Targets are shot concurrently with the open prone event. Entries can be made on the day.
Open Weekend Aggregate
The aggregate of Qualification scores from the 60 shot prone events each day.  NB: A separate entry is required for this competition.

Rifle Squad Times - make a note of the times; you will be asked for squad preferences during the online entry process
Times shown are match start times.  Preparation and Sighting begins 15 minutes before.

The organisers reserve the right to change start times or amend the programme.
