Important:  Temporary Visitors' Firearms Permits
The Isle of Man is not part of the United Kingdom.  It is a separate jurisdiction with its own legal system. Airguns are regulated as well as cartridge rifles and pistols.  Visitors to the Island require temporary permits for all guns and cartridge ammunition, including air rifles and air pistols.  Click on Permits in the main menu for details.  The process is quite straightforward.

When you've got your entry boxed off - please don't forget...

• we need your Temporary Permit Application and a copy of your FAC, and
  

• if you did not complete travel details at the time of your entry, we need a Travel Notification Form - see the panel on the Rifle or Airgun pages.
  

These should all be sent to the organisers at the address above.

If you are travelling by sea...
Check that you have also completed -

• the declaration for the carriage of firearms and/or regulated weapons
  

• (If carrying ammunition) the Dangerous Goods Form.
  

These should be sent to the ferry operator at least 48 hours before travel.
